Halloween

Halloween. It's upon us again.

Normally I'll say I wanna dress us and then I never do. Lauren's helped me this year. She's very inventive *if that's a word*. She recommended I be a lion. I can poof my hair into a mane and be a WILD .. THING!! Yes, as long as the hair was huge she was happy. lol. I thought it would be daring on my part, so I went with it.

... and there you go. LOL. fierce, I know. haha. SO much fun! I looked like I should be in the show CATS. yeah...

The dance was at the courthouse. It's a new co-ed christian co-opp. awesome! The people seem really chill and they're our neighbors. They're seriously across the street. lol

There's another Halloween dance this Wednesday. It's the Varsity mugger. AMAZING!
Lauren and I are going to wear all black and use glow sticks to create stick figure people images on us.


YAY!!! So excited! we bought materials today.

I met cool people at the dance last night (to go back to that subject) too. David (amy's friend). we danced a lot and had fun. John Mark, whom I've met many times, but as normall I had to reintroduce myself. lol. oh well. but yeah it was WAY fun!


**** Halloween's a weird subject for me. I don't know how I feel about it. I don't like how it's an excuse for people to dress slutty all over campus ( but they'll find an excuse for that no matter what- like THURSDAYS! "every Thursday we'll dress less and drink more!" awesome combo - I feel sorry for them... so lost =/....but that's another blog). It's also based off of some pretty evil stuff.
*** at the end of the day we try to use it for some good fun. =D Clean dances and dry parties!!

I saw Across the Universe last night with Lauren and AJ. It was our roomie night. We went to some places for Halloween costume stuff and out to dinner, but the main point of this post is the talk about the movie. What can I say?? I have no words....

I've never thought I'd wanna go to China. I'd rather go to a lot of other places. One reason is that if I can stick to an English speaking country I will, and if I go somewhere else it'll be for art or something similar to that.. Then I saw these pictures:

I took a drawing class last Spring term. It was kinda boring, but I can't deny we learned SOO much. Here's some stuff. Some's ok, some's better. At the end of the day I'm proud of it though!!!

So much has happened. A list for all of my deeply intrigued readers:

*We're listening to old school Mairah Carey (the only good stuff she's put out)

*Jen took me to see Brandi Carlile for my 21st B-day!! AMAZING!! (A Fine Frenzy was there again. WOOT!)




*Molly's in France now. =( I talked with her the other week. I miss her and hope she's happy!

*I visit Molly semi-soon. YES! 52 days!!!

*School has started again. Good and bad. no.... Good and annoying! I love Charis. My roomies rock my life! God is SOO good.


*My roomies, Jessica Udell, and I went to a corn maze in Jefferson last night! (others from charis, diakanos, and varsity went, but we four stuck together). The mazes weren't amazing, but we had a blast, ate elephant ears, and then went to Sharis to gorge ourselves with regretable food. "THROW UP!" lol

*I'm working at Quizno's again. It's still entertaining, so I can't complain. Besides, money's money, eh?


* Jenna just had her pumpkin carving party! SO FUN as usual! I carved Jay Leno and gave it to Mark. lol. It was worth a good laugh... Maybe a thousand. hmmmmmm



*Divine has started up again! We have a crew of 14 wonderful and amazing ladies. <3 I beatboxed on All That She Wants last Thursday! It was really fun. We were recording stuff to send to ICCAs and we decided to record that just for the heck of it. AMAZING! FUN!

*Jess, her mom, Chuck, Holly, and I are going to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Portland on December 2nd, 2007! YES! Should be amazing. They're gonna be doing Christmans music! YES!!!

*My mom started dating this guy named Gary. He seems really cool. His two sons go to OSU. I met him today. We (my mom, him, and I) went to Starbucks downtown.
